To celebrate Ferrari’s first year back in Le Mans,
since 1973, Charles Hurst Ferrari invited our customers and racing fans to join
us in our showroom to enjoy this historic moment. Alessandro Pier Guidi was the
man entrusted with the task of winning the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le
Mans, his car was the latest edition to Maranello’s racing family, the
Ferrari 499P. Equipped with a V6, twin-turbocharged, engine capable of
producing over 700Bhp, the 499P was the perfect car to win this legendary race.
Our guests were invited to join us in our Ferrari
showroom to soak up the thrill of the race, enjoy a complimentary bar and
authentic Italian pizzas. To help enhance the excitement, Eddie Irvine Sports
attended with the latest Le Mans Racing Simulators, offering our guests the
chance to experience the thrill of the 499P around the famous track. The stage
was set and all in attendance were ready to witness history.
After 50 years of not racing at Le Mans, Ferrari
won the Centenary edition of the iconic race. Alessandro Pier Guidi, and his
racing team, were crowned champions in the 499P and by doing so created an
unforgettable piece of history in Ferrari’s great racing lineage.
