499P is the name of the new Le Mans Hypercar with which Ferrari will tackle the FIA WEC in the top class from 2023, a name evoking the history of the Prancing Horse manufacturer.
Ferrari have chose to build a Le Mans Hypercar, embarking on a path of innovation and development. In so doing, they have kept faith to their DNA and see the track as the ideal terrain to experiment with cutting-edge technological solutions later adopted on Maranello-produced road cars.
Ferrari's Le Mans story began in 1949 and since then the Italian racing team have won the coveted race 36 times.
The 499P is a new chapter in Le Mans story and there is no doubt that Ferrari will be to aiming win this historic race for the 37th time.
