As our Ferrari Drivers Club continues to grow in popularity, the task to surpass each tour becomes greater. For our third tour of 2023 there was no better destination to select than Ashford Castle. Situated within the heart of County Mayo, the historic castle welcomed our guests with the warmth of Irish hospitality and unrivalled service. The five-star luxury hotel was the perfect location to continue the 2023 Charles Hurst Ferrari Drivers Club.

To begin our third tour of the year we met at our Ferrari showroom, in Belfast, where our members had the pleasure of enjoying another delicious breakfast served by The Kaffe. This was a great chance for our guests to relax and catch up with one another before setting off on our journey to County Mayo. The tour to Ashford Castle was 4-hours and offered our drivers the chance to experience the full potential of their finely tuned Ferraris.

The arrival to Ashford Castle was a unique and unforgettable experience. Our guests entered the grounds, in a dramatic manner, through the castle’s historic Drawbridge. Upon arrival, our guests were greeted by the renowned Irish hospitality which the hotel is famed for. Before the evening ahead, we allowed our Ferrari Drivers Club members to have a moment to freshen up and enjoy the amazing facilities which Ashford Castle has to offer.

The evening at Ashford Castle began with a drinks reception at the Billiards Room. With an impressive selection of beverages, and a beautifully relaxing atmosphere, the Billiards Room was the ideal setting to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

Dining at Ashford Castle was an experience like no other. Executive Chef Liam Finnegan created a menu inspired by Irish cuisine, sourcing the finest ingredients from the West of Ireland, and paired them alongside wine from the extensive cellar which is kept secret within the castle’s grounds. The Ferrari Drivers Club was treated to a delicious 4 course dinner which included oysters, lobster, and Ireland’s famous beef. The occasion of dining at Ashford Castle is one that our guests will cherish for years to come.

The third Ferrari Drivers Club tour of 2023 truly was an unforgettable experience, and one we hope to recreate again for the members of the CHFDC.
