To celebrate our final Ferrari Drivers Club tour of 2023, we set ourselves
the task of creating the most ambitious and exciting trip yet. The location was
Scotland and the Charles Hurst Ferrari Drivers Club had the privilege of
calling two of Britain's most widely recognised and exclusive hotels home for
our closing tour of the year. Cameron House and The Gleneagles Hotel were our
two destinations and the beautiful Scottish landscape was the backdrop our
Ferrari drivers had to enjoy.
As this was the finale of the 2023 Charles Hurst Ferrari Drivers Club,
the meeting point for our members had to be special. Custom House Square, based
in the centre of Belfast, was the perfect location to meet. Our guests were
treated to a delicious breakfast, served in a breathtaking destination which
was accompanied by an amazing array of Ferraris. From Custom House Square, we
embarked on the first leg of the 3-day excursion, beginning with a 2-hour ferry
journey to Scotland.
Our tour of Scotland began with an exciting 2-hour drive to Cameron
House, introducing our Ferrari drivers to the beauty that Scotland had to offer.
Cameron House is situated on the banks of the beautiful Loch Lomond. Upon
arrival our guests were met by the grandeur of the 15th century
estate. 2023 marked the 200-year anniversary of the transformation to what is
now a five-star resort, making our stay at Cameron House even more of an
occasion.
During our visit to Cameron House, our guests had the privilege of
enjoying the award-winning facilities the luxury resort had to offer. The
evening was an occasion like no other. The talented chefs at Cameron House
showcased their culinary expertise by serving our guests a delectable three
course dinner. Our guests enjoyed an exclusive evening, one
that will live long in their memories.
Following a relaxed breakfast and a final opportunity to sample the
delights of Cameron House, we left for our next destination of Glencoe. Often
described as the United Kingdom’s best driving road, we travelled along the
banks of Loch Lomond before making our way along the magical A82, an area which
offered summits, valleys, water and lochs.
From the beauty of Glencoe to the magnificence of The Gleneagles Hotel, the best of all that is great and quintessentially Scottish is what
awaited the CHFDC. First opening in 1924, Gleneagles has quickly become the
dream destination in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
As this was our final night in Scotland and the last Ferrari Drivers
Club tour of 2023, we ensured our guests enjoyed a spectacular evening of fine
dining, perfectly paired wines and whiskeys, all whilst enjoying the beautiful
surroundings and the occasion of The Gleneagles Hotel. The members of the CHFDC
were immersed in the glamour and best of modern-Scottish fine dining.
We set ourselves the task of making the Scottish tour our most ambitious
and exciting trip to date. The Charles Hurst Ferrari Drivers Club was
showcased the best that Scotland had to offer. The hospitality and dining
experience each hotel offered our guests made our Scottish tour an enjoyable
and unforgettable trip. This was the perfect tour to end 2023 and the ideal
platform to continue our success into 2024.
