Ferrari has revived one of its most legendary
names with the launch of the 849 Testarossa, a breathtaking new plug-in hybrid
supercar. Revealed in Milan as Ferrari’s new flagship, it combines a powerful
twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors to deliver 1,050 CV—setting a new
benchmark for performance and innovation.
The design pays tribute to Ferrari’s past
while embracing the future. Sleek and aerodynamic, the 849 Testarossa hides a 4.0-liter
twin-turbo V8 producing 830 CV, supported by two electric motors at the front
and one at the rear. This advanced setup, inspired by Formula 1 technology,
improves traction, balance, and precision in every corner.
Performance is nothing short of spectacular: 0–100 km/h in under 2.3 seconds, a top speed over 330 km/h, and the best power-to-weight ratio of any Ferrari to date. With deliveries beginning next year, the 849 Testarossa is the perfect blend of Ferrari heritage and cutting-edge hybrid performance.
